There's a chance it will happen, but New York Jets' fans shouldn't bet on it.
In a prediction that is sure to make the Jets' faithful frown, Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport suggested that Gang Green will fail at its attempt to dethrone the reigning four-time AFC East division champion Buffalo Bills.
The BR article projected answers to eight of "the biggest questions teams face in the 2024 NFL season." The writer questioned the Kansas City Chiefs' ability to "three-peat" as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers' playoff chances with quarterback Russell Wilson at the controls.

Even without Aaron Rodgers, the Jets have beaten the Bills twice over the last two seasons. New York's Top 4 defense has matched up well against Josh Allen and Co. and that arguably makes the Jets the biggest threat to Buffalo's AFC East supremacy.

The Jets, which haven't posted a winning record since 2015, are aiming to end a 13-year postseason drought in a highly-competitive AFC.
New York and Buffalo will meet head-to-head in Weeks 6 and 17. First, the Jets will host the Bills in the October 14 edition of Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. Gang Green is slated to visit Buffalo on December 29.
