NFL analyst rips 'tire fire' New York Giants in tiered rankings image

The New York Giants have a lot to prove coming off a 6-11 season, but NFL analysts don't see a thrilling campaign ahead.

Despite adding talents like Brian Burns and Malik Nabers to the roster this offseason, there are plenty of NFL analysts who are bearish on the Giants making any improvements to their record.

Jarrett Bailey of Touchdown Wire is among them, putting the Giants in the bottom tier of the league called "Good luck in 2025."

Along with the Giants, the tier included the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints.

"The Giants are a tire fire. They are somehow still doing the Daniel Jones thing, and their offense as a whole lacks any sort of star power outside of Malik Nabers. I’d label the Giants as the team who will have the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft," Bailey wrote.

It's easy to pick on the Giants after everything fell apart during the 2023 season. The offensive line was brutal and injured. Daniel Jones regressed from his 2022 form, and there was a considerable lack of star power on both sides of the ball.

Even going through three starting quarterbacks, the Giants still managed six wins. With a healthy Jones and potentially improved offensive line along with the additions made this offseason, the Giants could find themselves in a position to compete every week.

Of course as we saw last season, it also could fall apart and result in a top-five pick.

We'll see what happens, and there's only one month left of predictions before the games truly begin.
