The New York Giants claimed quarterback Nathan Rourke off waivers from the New England Patriots, the team announced Tuesday.

With Daniel Jones on the mend from a torn ACL he suffered in November, the Giants also have Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito in the quarterback room.

Rourke was waived by the Patriots on Monday. He entered the NFL after spending two seasons in the CFL with the BC Lions.

Rourke got his start in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars after working out for the majority of teams in the league during the 2023 offseason.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game. In 26 games (24 starts) at Ohio University, he recorded 4,637 passing yards, 40 touchdowns and a 144.3 passer rating.
