Which New York Giants draft picks remain unsigned? image

The New York Giants are set to begin organized team activities (OTAs) on Monday, but a pair of selections from the 2024 NFL Draft remain unsigned.

As of this writing Saturday morning, second-round safety Tyler Nubin and fourth-round tight end Theo Johnson are the only draft picks who remain unsigned.

This isn't a major cause for concern. Often times the language of a rookie contract leads to a delay in the players signing their deals.

Nubin is expected to be an instant starter and the replacement for Xavier McKinney, who signed with the Green Bay Packers in free agency. The Giants need a big rookie season out of him if they want the secondary to improve in 2024.

Johnson is also an intriguing selection for the Giants in the fourth round. He may be more of a long-term investment, but his elite athleticism and high-end blocking skills could lead to a role early on.

This is especially true given the uncertainty of Darren Waller's future.

With the team preparing to come together for the first time this offseason, we should expect these deals to get done at some point.
