The New York Giants released the schedule for the 2024 NFL season, and it will be a tough road for a team that finished last year with a 6-11 record.
Despite finishing with that record and the No. 6 overall pick, the Giants will have five standalone games on the schedule. Three of them are typical prime-time matchups in addition to an overseas game and a Thanksgiving bout against the Dallas Cowboys.
Here's a ranking of every game on the Giants' schedule from toughest to easiest:

1. Week 13: at Dallas Cowboys
Thanksgiving on the road against the Cowboys typically isn't a good combination for the Giants.
2. Week 15: vs. Baltimore Ravens
This matchup could get ugly, especially with Baltimore's addition of Derrick Henry. Plus they'll be coming off a bye week.
3. Week 6: vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Containing Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins is going to be a tough ask for a Giants secondary that has plenty of question marks.
4. Week 7: vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Saquon Barkley revenge game probably won't go over well unless the Giants run defense dramatically improves.
5. Week 4: vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Giants' first prime-time game of the season is a Thursday night matchup hosting Dallas.
6. Week 18: at Philadelphia Eagles
The main reason why the Giants could win this game is if the Eagles sit their starters because they've already clinched a playoff spot.
7. Week 3: at Cleveland Browns
Myles Garrett against the Giants offensive line?
8. Week 5: at Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have had the Giants' number having won six of the last seven games against Big Blue.
9. Week 8: at Pittsburgh Steelers
Why this game is on a Monday night is beyond me. It's a winnable matchup, but the Giants haven't done well recently in prime time.
10. Week 16: at Atlanta Falcons
Who knows how the Falcons will be with Kirk Cousins, but their offense on paper looks pretty stout.
11. Week 12: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield earned himself a nice contract this offseason, but it will be interesting to see how he fares without offensive coordinator Dave Canales.
12. Week 17: vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are projected to be a middle-of-the-road team with the intriguing Anthony Richardson at quarterback. This should be an interesting matchup.
13. Week 14: vs. New Orleans Saints
The Derek Carr-led Saints don't scare anyone. These two teams have split their last six games against each other.
14. Week 1: vs. Minnesota Vikings
Justin Jefferson could certainly be a problem but drawing J.J. McCarthy's first career game (Sam Darnold) should give the Giants a chance to start the season with a win.
15. Week 2: at Washington Commanders
The Giants have historically owned the Commanders, and they'll get Jayden Daniels in his first career start.
16. Week 9: vs. Washington Commanders
Daniels should have more experience by the time this game arrives, but the Giants can still be viewed as favorites at home.
17. Week 10: at Carolina Panthers
Visiting the Panthers in Germany is a bit of a wrinkle but if there's one team worse than the Giants, it's Carolina.
