The New York Giants selected UCLA linebacker Darius Muasau with the No. 183 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Unless the Giants trade back into the draft, this will be their final selection in 2024. Even with Bobby Okereke and Carter Coughlin, the Giants needed some depth both at linebacker and on special teams.

A fifth-year senior, Muasau started 51 games during his collegiate career between Hawaii (2019-2021) and UCLA (2022-2023).

In his two seasons at UCLA, Muasau started 26 games, recording 166 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 10 passes defensed and three interceptions.

At 5-foot-11 and 225 pounds, Muasau has 31.5-inch arms. He posted a 4.70 in the 40-yard dash and added a 36.5-inch vertical jump. Muasau is likely a depth linebacker who will contribute on special teams and as a spot starter if someone ahead of him gets injured.
