After a Hall of Fame career, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is on to the next stage of his life, which will include serving as FOX's top color analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt this football season.

This will be a new challenge for Brady, but like all of the other trials that he's been put through in his life, he's committed to making sure he's the very best he can be when he steps into the studio for the first time later this year.

Earlier this week, Brady spoke with NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero about his new role, and the quarterback explained how he's going to deal with watching some poor performances and decisions in games that he's broadcasting.

"A lot like Peyton [Manning], I have a very high expectation for how I think the game needs to be played, how it needs to be coached and how it needs to be officiated," Brady said. "I want to see the game grow. I want to see the game succeed. I want to see it better than ever. How can I play a role and impact in that? I can give my own opinion. If people want to listen, great, and if they don't, that's OK... Next year, you might say, 'Tom, tone it down, man. You're being a jerk out there. Let these guys grow and develop.'"

Brady has rather large shoes to fill, as he'll be replacing former NFL tight end Greg Olsen, who's being bumped down to another team, in the booth. Olsen was generally liked by fans, so if Brady isn't doing well right away, the football world might voice their displeasure.

However, if he's honest, as he claims he might be, Brady will be well-liked.
