After a day of community service, the New England Patriots returned to the practice fields outside of Gillette Stadium on Wednesday for their second and final day of mandatory minicamp.

With this session in the books, the Patriots are now off until the start of their training camp in late July.

Before we get there, let's recap some of the things that happened on Wednesday.

Linebacker Josh Uche returned after missing Day 1 of minicamp.

According to Chris Mason, former Patriots Devin and Jason McCourty along with Deion Branch were watching the practice session, as they're in town for Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Notes:

Kicking Competition (via. Mason):

  • Joey Slye: 4-for-4
  • Chad Ryland: 3-for-4 (miss was from 47 yards)
