On Monday, the New England Patriots will be working on the practice fields next to Gillette Stadium, as they're one of a handful of teams opening up their mandatory minicamps.

Heading into Monday's session, there was a question of whether or not Patriots edge rusher Matthew Judon was going to be in attendance after missing organized team activities in recent weeks.

However, Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo shut down that speculation before the session even started, saying that they have full attendance and Judon is expected to be a full participant.

"I do [expect Judon to be on the field Monday]," Mayo said. "It's great to have Judon and his energy in the building. He was here at times during the rest of the spring, but it's good to have him over the next couple of days."

Judon was unhappy with his contract last offseason which led to the team moving money from 2024 to 2023, so it was expected that there might be a similar uneasiness this year.

It will be very interesting to see whether or not the Patriots, who have the most cap space remaining in the NFL, address Judon's contract before the start of the season with either an adjustment or an extenison.
