With the constant shuffling of NFL rosters at this point in the season, more desirable jersey numbers often become available after a player has already chosen one with their new team. However, players can always change their numbers if another player leaves the roster.

For the New England Patriots, that exact occurrence happened this week, as rookie offensive lineman Layden Robinson, who had been wearing No. 63, has switched to No. 64, the number he wore at Texas A&M. No. 64 was previously worn by offensive lineman Andrew Stueber, who the Patriots released a couple of weeks back to make room for undrafted rookie wideout David Wallis.

Robinson is expected to compete for a starting guard spot throughout training camp.
