The New England Patriots will open their 2024 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, which is now 36 days away.

Until the opening kickoff of the season for the Patriots, we'll be counting down each day by looking back at those who have worn each specific jersey number.

Since 1960, 14 players have worn No. 36 in New England, and with 36 days until their first game of the year, here's a look at everyone who's worn the number for the team:

RB Kevin Harris: 2022-Present

  • Has appeared in nine games for New England over his first two seasons, rushing for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 3.4 yards per attempt and catching three passes for 58 yards
  • Expected to be a depth back in 2024

DB Brandon King: 2015-21

  • Appeared in 73 games for New England over seven seasons, recording 52 tackles, a quarterback hit and a forced fumble
  • Won two Super Bowls with the Patriots

DB Kanorris Davis: 2013

  • Appeared in three games for New England in one season, recording one tackle

RB Lousaka Polite: 2011

  • Appeared in one game for New England in one season
  • Also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears

DB James Sanders: 2005-10

  • Appeared in 84 games for New England over six seasons, recording 303 tackles (four for a loss), eight interceptions, four fumble recoveries, two quarterback hits, two forced fumbles and a sack
  • Also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons

DB Lawyer Milloy: 1996-2002

  • Appeared in 112 games for New England over seven seasons, recording 763 tackles (14 for a loss), 23 passes defensed, 19 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries and seven sacks
  • Won a Super Bowl and made four Pro Bowls and one All-Pro with the Patriots
  • Also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks

RB Leroy Thompson: 1994

  • Appeared in 16 games for New England in one season, rushing for 312 yards and two touchdowns on 3.1 yards per attempt and catching 65 passes for 465 yards and another five touchdowns
  • Also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

DB Jerome Henderson: 1991-93

  • Appeared in 40 games for New England over four seasons, recording 107 tackles, seven interceptions and two fumble recoveries
  • Also played for the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles

DB Brian Hutson: 1990

  • Appeared in two games for New England in one season

RB John Tarver: 1972-74

  • Appeared in 31 games for New England over three seasons, rushing for 554 yards and seven touchdowns on 3.6 yards per attempt and catching 29 passes for 200 yards and another score
  • Also played for the Philadelphia Eagles

RB Eddie Ray: 1970

  • Appeared in five games for Boston in one season, rushing for 13 yards on 2.6 yards per attempt
  • Also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and San Diego Chargers

LB Ken Herock: 1969

  • Appeared in six games for Boston in one season
  • Also played for the Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals
  • Won an AFL championship with Oakland

P Terry Swanson: 1967-68

  • Appeared in 24 games for Boston over two seasons, averaging 40 yards per attempt
  • Also played for the Cincinnati Bengals

HB Tom Neumann: 1963

  • Appeared in 10 games for Boston in one season, rushing for 148 yards on 3.4 yards per attempt and catching 10 passes for 48 yards and a touchdown
