The New England Patriots have a number of players who spent time on their 2023 roster who are still free agents, including cornerback J.C. Jackson.

However, Jackson might be looking for a new team for a while.

On Friday, the NFL announced that the 28-year-old has been suspended for a game for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Jackson had an arrest warrant issued after he failed to appear for a court date for a probation violation hearing following a 2021 speeding arrest.

Jackson originally signed with New England in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland. He won a Super Bowl with the Patriots and earned Pro Bowl and Second-team All-Pro honors in 2021.

He signed a massive deal with the Chargers in 2022, but after rupturing his patellar tendon during the year first year of the deal, he was traded back to the Patriots in 2023. He appeared in eight games after the trade and was released back in March.
