The New England Patriots have been struggling to get good performances at left tackle through the first three games of the season, as they've started three different players.
They've also dealt with injuries, as Vederian Lowe left New England's Week 2 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks and Caedan Wallace left their Week 3 battle against the New York Jets.
On Monday, the Patriots brought in another offensive tackle to their building, as they've signed Jalen McKenzie to their practice squad.
McKenzie, 25, played both left and right tackle in college at USC before signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. He spent all of his rookie season in 2022 on the Seahawks practice squad and spent all of 2023 on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad. He's yet to play in a regular season game in the NFL.
McKenzie joins Caleb Jones as the only offensive tackles on New England's practice squad, but if things keep going the way they are, it wouldn't be surprising to see or one both of them get elevated for game day at some point.
