Before the game, New England held their first practice of the week on Tuesday after estimating participation levels on Monday. They also released their usual injury report.

Linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), offensive tackle (Vederian Lowe), guard Sidy Sow (ankle) and linebacker Oshane Ximines (knee) were non-participants for the session.

Six players were listed as limited, including center David Andrews (hip), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (knee), cornerback Marcus Jones (knee), offensive tackle Mike Onwenu (wrist), safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder), guard Layden Robinson (shoulder) and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. (shoulder).

Andrews was upgraded from the non-participation estimation on Monday.

New York listed linebackers Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) and C.J. Mosley (toe) as non-participants. Offensive tackle Tyron Smith (rest) was limited and cornerback Michael Carter II (ankle), running back Breece Hall (quadriceps) and cornerback D.J. Reed (knee) practiced fully.
