After mutually parting ways with Bill Belichick after 24 seasons, the New England Patriots promoted Jerod Mayo to become the 15th head coach in the franchise's history.

The Patriots have the toughest schedule in the league in 2024 and don't exactly have the most talented roster in the NFL, but we can look back at the old head coaches to get some insight into what we could expect in Mayo's first season.
