For the first time in history, HBO's 'Hard Knocks' is giving fans a sneak peek into what it's like for an NFL team during free agency and the draft, and they're starting this year with the New York Giants.

In a recent episode of the show, HBO gave a behind-the-scenes look at a pre-draft meeting with draft prospect Drake Maye, who the New England Patriots drafted with the third overall pick. Maye is shown going over plays and play calls with Giants head coach Brian Daboll, and the quarterback was able to communicate and communicate everything that the coach was looking for.

Maye looks like a true natural in the meeting room, and he likely showed New England a lot of the same stuff when he met with them multiple times before becoming their first-round selection. As a student of the game, he should continue learning throughout these early months with the team, as he hopes to take over as the Patriots starting quarterback as soon as possible.
