Each offseason for more than 30 years, the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship has assisted minority coaches to gain experience through NFL teams' offseason programs and training camps.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots have welcomed two coaches for their offseason programs - Purdue's T.J. McCollum and former South Carolina assistant coach Montario Hardesty.

McCollum is currently serving as a recruiting associate at Purdue, where he also played linebacker for the team in 2017. He spent his rookie minicamp with the Chicago Bears in 2018.

Hardesty had South Carolina's running back coach for the last three seasons before parting ways with the team back in January. He was a second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns back in 2010 and played four seasons before retiring.
