Earlier in the week it was reported that two members of the New England Patriots' front office wouldn't be returning for the 2024 season, and now it appears one of their replacements has been found.

According to Inside the League's Neil Stratton, the Patriots are hiring Casey Belongia as an area scout, a role that was held by Taylor Redd for the last four seasons.

Belongia had been working with the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2014 working as a scouting assistant and then as a college scout. He was set to be a pro scout for the team this year.

Prior to his time with the Jaguars, Belongia worked with the Green Bay Packers as an equipment manager. That was the same time that new Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf was working in Green Bay, so there's a natural connection to be made there.

As Wolf continues to lean into his new role, there will likely be more moves coming from the front office in the future.
