On Wednesday night, the NFL announced the full slate of games for their 2024 campaign, including 18 weeks of contests and a bye week for the New England Patriots.

Jerod Mayo's team will play eight games at Gillette Stadium, seven on the road domestically and one internationally at Wembley Stadium in London.

With the schedule release, let's a look at every game.

WEEK 1: at Cincinnati Bengals - Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

New England's defense will be immediately tested by Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in 2024. With all of the new changes, this is a tough first matchup for Mayo's squad.

WEEK 2: vs. Seattle Seahawks - Sunday, Sept. 15 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX

Seattle took a step back in 2023, but they'll still provide the Patriots with a hard home opener at Gillette Stadium.

WEEK 3: at New York Jets - Thursday, Sept. 19 at 8:15 p.m ET on Amazon Prime Video

If he can stay healthy, this will be the first time that the Patriots meet Aaron Rodgers as a member of the Jets. New England will need to take care of their division games if they want a chance at an improved record.

WEEK 4: at San Francisco 49ers - Sunday, 29 at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX

The defending NFC champions will get after whoever is under center. Considering New England's left tackle situation, the quarterbacks should have this one circled.

WEEK 5: vs. Miami Dolphins - Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX

Bill Belichick struggled against Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins, failing to win a single game with the former Alabama gunslinger under center. Will Mayo have better luck?

WEEK 6: vs. Houston Texans - Sunday, 13 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

With two big hits on C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson in the 2023 NFL draft, Houston completely changed the trajectory of their franchise. Mayo will need to have both sides of the ball prepared.

WEEK 7: at Jacksonville Jaguars (London) - Sunday, Oct 20 at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network

Trevor Lawrence is trending toward the upper echelon of quarterbacks in the NFL, but the Jaguars have yet to put it together for a full season. This will also feel like a home game for Jacksonville, as this will be their second game in London in a row.

WEEK 8: vs. New York Jets - Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

New England needs to be the Jets at home this season, or they'll be almost guaranteed the bottom spot in the division. It will be tough to do immediately after returning from London.

WEEK 9: at Tennessee Titans - Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX

Both teams have new coaches, but Tennessee has done a better job surrounding their young quarterback with talent, meaning new defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington will have his work cut out for him.

WEEK 10: at Chicago Bears - Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX

This will be a super intriguing matchup if Drake Maye is starting by then. A battle between the first and third overall picks would bring in eyeballs.

WEEK 11: vs. Los Angeles Rams - Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX

The Rams had a resurgence in 2023 with Matthew Stafford back and healthy, but without Aaron Donald, their defense is a lot easier to play against.

WEEK 12: at Miami Dolphins - Sunday, Nov. 23 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

Even during the Tom Brady days, the Patriots struggled down in Miami Gardens, Florida, so this could be a test with it being much warmer there in November.

WEEK 13: vs. Indianapolis Colts - Sunday, Dec. 1 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

Indianapolis will get their starter back, as Anthony Richardson returns from season-ending surgery. His athleticism and strength could be a problem for New England's defensive front.

WEEK 14: BYE

WEEK 15: at Arizona Cardinals - Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS

First, it's brutal that the Patriots didn't get their request to have the 49ers and Cardinals games be in consecutive weeks. Second, Kyler Murray presents a different type of athletic challenge than Richardson. New England's defense better start running the hill to keep their conditioning up.

WEEK 16: at Buffalo Bills - Sunday, Dec. 22 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

It's late in the season to play Buffalo for the first time. Even though they lost their top wideout (Stefon Diggs), they still have a more talented offense than the Patriots.

WEEK 17: vs. Los Angeles Chargers - Date and Time TBD

This could be a matchup of Justin Herbert and the prospect whose been compared to him. With changes to the receiving corps and the coaching staff, the Chargers have a lot of things to figure out before we get to this one.

WEEK 18: vs. Buffalo Bills - Date and Time TBD

The Bills could have this division wrapped up by Week 18, so New England could really take this one at Gillette Stadium.
