The Minnesota Vikings made a roster move one week before the 2024 NFL Draft by waiving reserve offensive lineman Coy Cronk. They did so with a non-football injury designation.

Cronk went undrafted out of the University of Iowa in 2021 and initially signed with the Green Bay Packers. He failed to make the roster but caught on with the Jacksonville Jaguars that October.

Cronk played in 3 games with the Jaguars in 2022 who moved on from him in 2023 when the Vikings signed him to the practice squad.

Waiving Cronk with the non-football injury designation signals that he got injured outside of the Vikings building. There is a chance he could come back to the team once the injury heals.
