The Minnesota Vikings signed a hefty undrafted free agent class of 17 players after the 2024 NFL Draft. In order to get them to come to Minnesota, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah needed to offer some guaranteed and signing bonus money.

That process is how the Vikings had one of the best undrafted free-agent classes in 2023. They guaranteed edge rusher Andre Carter II $300,000 and linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. $216,000 with respective signing bonuses of $40,000 and $20,000. They both ended up making the final 53-man roster so the investment was made in those two players.

The Vikings offered guaranteed and bonus money to some of the undrafted players they brought in, but that information hasn't come out very quickly. We do have information on three of the Vikings' undrafted free agents from Over The Cap.

  • OL Matt Cindric: $5,000 signing bonus, $5,000 guaranteed salary
  • WR Devron Harper: $5,000 signing bonus, $10,000 guaranteed salary
  • OLB Bo Richter: $5,000 signing bonus, $10,000 guaranteed salary

Those are all relatively good prices for the quality of the player. However, we are still waiting on how much they gave the crown jewels of the class in edge rusher Gabriel Murphy and cornerback Dwight McGlothern. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Vikings give them similar deals to what Carter and Pace got.
