The Minnesota Vikings released their schedule video with tight end T.J. Hockenson as the focus, as he did his best Steve Jobs impression. The reality for Hockenson is a little bit different than how he looked in the video.

After tearing his ACL and suffering damage to his MCL on Christmas Eve, Hockenson didn't have surgery until January 26th, leaving his 2024 season in doubt. During an appearance on NFL Network Wednesday, Hockenson elaborated on his rehab and return timetable.

“They haven’t really put a timeline on it,” Hockenson said. “We’re just kinda taking it day by day, week by week, there’s just so many variables that you can go through in this process. I’m doing really good right now. We’re attacking each process. I’m attacking each one and it’s been awesome, the progression has been incredible.”

Hockenson is likely to start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list while recovering from his injury. The first game that Hockenson is likely to play in would be week nine against the Indianapolis Colts.
