The Minnesota Vikings continue to do their due diligence with the 2024 NFL Draft prospects and the latest move to gather information saw a slight change.
The Vikings were scheduled to meet with LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels for dinner on Thursday night but those plans seem to have changed. Both sides just had a meeting with all of the Vikings decision maker there with Daniels, according to SKOR North's Darren Wolfson.
Is there anything worthwhile when it comes to discerning whether or not the Vikings do or don't have genuine interest in Daniels? Probably not. Both sides had logistic struggles in trying to get a meeting scheduled and having the meeting was really important in a general sense. This also isn't the first time they have spoken either, as both parties are in an incredibly busy this time of year in trying to meet with as many people as possible.
Will the Vikings end up prioritizing Daniels in the NFL Draft? That much remains to be seen, but meeting with him is an important step toward that.
