The Minnesota Vikings are heading into rookie minicamp with a lot of hype around them. QB J.J. McCarthy and EDGE Dallas Turner will make their Vikings debut at rookie minicamp this upcoming weekend May 10th-12th. They will don the Vikings jersey for the first time and practice under head coach Kevin O'Connell.
It won't just be the first-round picks making their debuts. It will be the entire draft class and undrafted free agents as well. While the rookies will be the focus, there are still some holes on the team that need to be addressed.
One of the ways the Vikings could potentially address the holes on the roster is by bringing back some of your own free agents. Now, it's not necessarily likely to happen at this point in the free agency cycle, but being that they are all depth players, it's still possible.
The Vikings currently have eight free agents remaining from the 2023 roster, including two players who were major contributors on offense.
