Report: Vikings called Chargers about QB Justin Herbert image

The Minnesota Vikings have been searching for a quarterback and have been exploring every situation to make it happen. They called the Los Angeles Chargers about Justin Herbert, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This shouldn't be much of a surprise, as Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh has spoken at length about how much he loves J.J. McCarthy. That element has made things really interesting for the future of Herbert in Los Angeles.

At the end of the day, they ended up taking offensive tackle Joe Alt and will keep Herbert long-term.
