The Minnesota Vikings made their fifth selection of the 2024 NFL Draft at pick 203 in the sixth round. They have selected Alabama kicker Will Reichard.
Having kicked at Alabama, there were plenty of high-leverage kicks in his career. Having been the Crimson Tide's kicker for the last four seasons, Reichard has connected at 295/297 extra points and 84/100 field goals with a career long of 52 yards.
He is historically good at longer field goals, hitting 10/13 field goals longer than 50 yards. He doesn't seem to have a booming leg like the other kickers in this class but will compete with John Parker Romo for the starting kicker job.
