The Minnesota Vikings had their 2024 schedule released and that means the preliminary betting lines for all 17 games have been released. Draft Kings Sportsbook doesn't look favorably on the Vikings, as they are underdogs in 14 of their 17 games.
It isn't just that they are underdogs in 14 games, they are underdogs in six of their home games, including being six-point underdogs in week two against the San Francisco 49ers. That is pretty disrespectful to the Vikings who were extremely competitive without their starting quarterback in 2023. Now that the Vikings don't have a guarantee at quarterback, they are 8.5-point underdogs? It doesn't seem very fair.
The three games that the Vikings are favored:
- Week nine vs. Indianapolis: -1
- Week 11 at Tennessee: -1
- Week 13 vs Arizona: -1.5
Now, things can change with improvements during the season but this isn't a great start for the Vikings.
