The Minnesota Vikings have a weakness at cornerback and continue to add players to the position.
It was announced on Tuesday that the Vikings were planning on adding cornerback Fabian Moreau. That came to fruition on Wednesday when the team announced his signing and released linebacker Abraham Beauplan.
Moreau was originally a third-round pick by the Washington Commanders in 2017 and spent four seasons with them before spending one year each with the Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants and Denver Broncos.
In 2023 with the Broncos, Moreau played 739 snaps and was a solid cornerback. He posted a Pro Football Focus grade of 62.4 and a coverage grade of 62.9. Moreau could be in contention for a starting job but at the least, he will be a solid body to have during training camp.
