The Minnesota Vikings officially announced the signing of guard Dalton Risner and waived center Matthew Cindric in a corresponding roster move.

Risner comes back to the Vikings after taking over last season as the starting left guard. Terms of his contract were not initially disclosed but it's not likely to be a lot of money due to when he signed his contract.

Cindric was an intriguing prospect out of Cal. He did have two season-ending biceps injury but also had experience at both guard and center along with snapping for field goals. He hits the waiver wire and could possibly be brought back during training camp if an injury hits.
