When the Minnesota Vikings signed wide receiver Justin Jefferson to a mega-extension, they did so knowing he was the best wide receiver in the National Football League. Depending on who you talk to, it's up for debate but he's consistently in everyone's top-two at the position.
The initial rankings were released for Madden 25 and it had Jefferson ranking second in the league at wide receiver at 98 overall.

There is only one player ahead of Jefferson at wide receiver in Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins. The debate between which player is better has raged on for months but it's not a disrespectful stance to have Jefferson below Hill.
98 is one point lower than what Jefferson was ranked in 2023 when he was in the rare 99 club. Going down one point considering he missed nearly half the season with a hamstring injury is objectively fine.
It's important to note that these are just the initial rankings. Madden changes the rankings throughout the year with players getting updates each week depending on a variety of factors, including performance.
