The Minnesota Vikings selected Texas A&M Commerce defensive tackle Levi Drake Rodriguez with the 232nd pick in round seven of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Rodriguez stands at 6-2 and 300 lbs who plays with a heavy and steady motor. When you take players at this spot, you want them to have a good motor along with some size and athletic profile to work with.
Unfortunately, there isn't much to love about his quickness. He has just average quicnkess metrics and just a 26th percentile vertical jump. Is there something worth developing? That remains to be seen, but the Vikings think it's worth looking into.
