The Minnesota Vikings are at a fascinating point in their franchise history. They seem to have figured out both head coach and general manager, but they are facing the biggest decision they will make during their time with the Vikings.

They have been aggressive in looking at upgrading at quarterback, including acquiring the 23rd overall pick from the Houston Texans. Just because they are aggressive, doesn't mean that they will be able to move up for a quarterback.

What happens if they don't get the opportunity to move up in the NFL Draft? Oregon quarterback Bo Nix could be an option, according to Yahoo! Sports' Charles Robinson.

There’s also a twist in all of this. A very well-connected league source told Yahoo Sports they firmly believe that if the Patriots take Maye, the Vikings are comfortable standing down in trade talks and using one of their two first-round picks — either No. 11 or No. 23 — to select Oregon quarterback Bo Nix. It’s worth noting here that Nix had a private workout for the Vikings earlier this month.

It's interesting to hear that the Vikings are being connected to Bo Nix when beat reporter Ben Goessling of The Star Tribune said on local radio station KFAN that the Vikings are least likely to take him of any of the quarterbacks. Goessling has a track record of being right over recent years, including Garrett Bradbury, Christian Darrisaw and Jeff Gladney.

Will the Vikings show any interest in Nix? Only time will tell, but the different opinions from connected people is fascinating.
