The Minnesota Vikings made seven picks in the 2024 NFL Draft including two players from the University of Alabama in EDGE Dallas Turner and K Will Reichard. In 2023, the Vikings took two players from USC in wide receiver Jordan Addison and cornerback Mekhi Blackmon and two from LSU in safety Jay Ward and defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy.
The benefit for taking teammates is that you can get information on the other from both of them. It relates back to the discussion on top 30 visits and how general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has used them.
Turner was on with the voice of the Vikings Paul Allen and he had some great things to say about Reichard.
.@PAOnTheMic just had @UnoErra on the show and asked Dallas what the Vikings are getting in former @AlabamaFTBL teammate @WillReichard.

"They're getting a COLD-BLOODED SNIPER!"
😈😈😈
High praise for Reichard, who ended up playing well at Alabama before being the 203rd overall pick by the Vikings in round six. He will compete with John Parker Romo for the kicking job this offseason.
