Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, 30, shared plenty of information with the media at his first official press conference at training camp.

Among his interesting tidbits was the fact that he just returned from Antigua where he had a controversial stem cell treatment.  Hill said the treatment was intended to improve his blood flow and that he felt great.

This treatment is illegal in the US, but the NFL does not prohibit it.

It is traditionally intended for patients with heart disease, but the potential for benefits for patients without cardiovascular conditions exists. The Mayo Clinic says "Researchers are studying how stem cell therapy might be used to repair injured muscle or stimulate blood vessel growth."

Hill is looking to preserve his agility and speed as he enters his ninth NFL season (third season in Miami) and is willing to invest in alternative therapies to maintain a competitive edge.
