The Los Angeles Rams have made their final pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, selecting Kansas State OL KT Leveston in the seventh round, using the 254th overall pick to make him a Ram. How does he fit and what can his impact be for the Rams?

Scouting Report for KT Leveston

Strengths

  • Very good play strength
  • Good anchor
  • Good length
  • Good competitive toughness

Weaknesses

  • Below-average change of direction ability
  • Below-average use of hands
  • Average pad level
  • Average processing post-snap

A mammoth of a man, KT Leveston is a bulldozer in the run game. He uses his impressive play strength and length to drive defenders out of gaps, and his heavy hands jolt pass rushers. He's more power than technique, relying on his athletic gifts and frame more than his hands and footwork. Leveston played left tackle in college but will have to play guard at the next level due to his athletic limitations on the inside.

Draft Grade

The Rams once again opted to invest in the interior of their offensive line. Leveston is a fine player, but will have to kick inside at the next level due to his lack of range on the outside at tackle. He's a physical mauler who should shore up the Rams' depth on the inside. I'm stunned the Rams opted to ignore left tackle, linebacker, and cornerback in the draft however. This is a C+.
