If you have never checked out the annual list of 100 bold predictions for the upcoming NFL season put forth by Conor Orr of Sports Illustrated, it's always quite the read.

Many of his predictions are about the season to come but he includes some quirky picks as well as some predictions that don't have much to do with football at all. When it comes to the prediction he makes for the Los Angeles Chargers this season, it's not really bold.

Orr predicts that Jim Harbaugh will be the NFL's top coach.

Jim Harbaugh wins NFL Coach of the Year, according to bold prediction

Chargers fans would love this, even if it's not all that "bold". Harbaugh being named the NFL Coach of the Year would solidify what many already believe — that the Chargers got the right man to lead a rebuild.

The Chargers went 5-12 in 2023 and are looking for a quick turnaround. Fresh off winning the College Football National Championship, Harbaugh has had success at each of his stops as a head coach and there is little reason to believe that won't continue in L.A.

If he were to win the award, he would become just the second coach in franchise history to do so, joining Marty Schottenheimer in 2004.
