The Los Angeles Chargers are on the road this week but go against the Carolina Panthers, a team that has won 24 games in the last five seasons. That will lead to many fantasy football managers putting as many Chargers players in their lineups as possible.

That is understandable, but it could also be one of those games that doesn't go how you think it will. The Panthers will be looking to avoid an 0-2 start for new head coach Dave Canales, so look for the Panthers to hunker down and make this a little tougher than most may think.

With that in mind, here are some things to take into consideration with your Chargers players in fantasy football this week.

Los Angeles Chargers Week 2 fantasy football advice

Must start: J.K. Dobbins, RB

After averaging over 13 yards per carry and rushing for 135 yards in Week 1, the Chargers could give J.K. Dobbins some more work this week against a week defense that was carved up by the New Orleans Saints last week.

If you drafted Dobbins because of the success that Jim Harbaugh has had rushing the football during his coaching career, great pick. Now, get him in your lineup.

Start: Chargers DST

The Chargers got a weak offensive opponent in the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1 and they forced three turnovers and had four sacks. They get an even weaker offensive opponent in Week 2, so fire up the defense.

Bench: Chargers tight ends

This could become a season-long story with this team as the tight ends just aren't going to be featured in this offense. Chargers tight ends were targeted just four times in Week 1 (Justin Herbert only threw 26 passes) and that is not likely to increase much.

Unless you just have terrible options, Hayden Hurst and Will Dissly should not be in your lineups.

Sleeper: Quentin Johnston, WR

With Joshua Palmer being listed as questionable for this game, the Chargers could have to look elsewhere for some options in the passing game. Quentin Johnston quietly had a decent day for the team in Week 1, catching three passes for 38 yards.

If your options are limited this week, Johnston could be a nice play.

Deep Sleeper: Brenden Rice, WR

If you play in a huge league (16 teams or more) and need a good dart throw this week, Brenden Rice could be called on in a pinch. You'll want to track his status for the game as he was listed inactive in Week 1, but if he can suit up, he could see some looks.

DFS Play of the Week: Chargers DST- $3400

There are five defenses priced higher than the Chargers on DraftKings this week and I wouldn't take any of them ahead of the Chargers, who get to go against Bryce Young for 60 minutes.
