The Los Angeles Chargers now have their entire draft class under contract as the team came to terms with a huge deal with wide receiver Ladd McConkey on Monday. The deal will give record money, the most to any player drafted with the No. 34 overall pick.

The Chargers are high on McConkey, who they traded up to select in the draft's second round. He could enter the 2024 season as the team's No. 1 wide receiver.

McConkey played at Georgia, one of the most successful programs in college football over the last decade. Despite playing in only nine games last season, he still rose up the board in the draft and landed in what many feel was the perfect spot.

In Los Angeles, McConkey could play on the outside or in the slot and should thrive with one of the league's best passers, Justin Herbert, throwing him the ball.

Because of this, high expectations are out there for McConkey and that could include him setting a record on the field in addition to the one he just set by signing his name to a contract.
