To back up the strong draft that the Los Angeles Chargers put together back in April, the team has had two players named to a preseason All-Rookie Team put together by NFL.com.

Chad Reuter named his All-Rookie Team ahead of the 2024 season and for the Chargers, their first-round pick and their third-round pick landed on the list. On the offensive side of things, No. 5 overall pick Joe Alt was selected as one of the members of the offensive line, and former Michigan linebacker Junior Colson, who has a great chance to make an impact as a rookie, was chosen for the defensive team.

Alt and Colson were considered by many to be among the best overall value picks in this draft class, but many fans would feel that second-round pick Ladd McConkey deserves a spot on this list too.

In McConkey's defense, this was a wide receiver-heavy draft class. Reuter went with Marvin Harrison Jr. of the Arizona Cardinals and Xavier Worthy of the Kansas City Chiefs as his wide receivers.

It will be interesting to see how this list stacks up at season's end. The Chargers did not have anyone on NFL.com's All-Rookie Team following the 2023 season but Tuli Tuipolotu had an argument to be part of it.

In Jim Harbaugh's first year as the team's head coach, the Chargers could have multiple players on it at the end of 2024.
