Following a quiet performance from Ladd McConkey against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2, this is the perfect time to trade for him at good value.

As someone who has drafted McConkey in many leagues, I have received messages about who they should offer for him, as more people are putting him on the trade block and panic selling.

Take advantage of it, get him at a good value, and it will pay off in the long run. Right before the season started, in a league where I was not able to draft McConkey, I offered George Kittle, Rashid Shaheed, and Bo Nix in a super flex league for Ladd McConkey and Tank Bigsby. Granted, I was willing to overpay, but the person rejected the offer.

Earlier this week, he put him on the trade block, and I offered him Shaheed for McConkey. The offer was accepted.

Following the Steelers matchup in Week 3, the Chargers will face opponents such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, and New Orleans Saints, among other offensive juggernauts. Herbert will need to throw the ball more to receivers he can trust, and as of right now, those two receivers are McConkey and Quentin Johnston.

We don't know who the Chargers' WR1 is yet, but McConkey saw seven targets in Week 1 against the Raiders, compared to just four targets against the Panthers in Week 2. If you trust the Chargers' offense and Justin Herbert, trust that he will get the ball in McConkey's hands when their backs are against the wall.

McConkey could become Herbert's go-to, similar to how Keenan Allen was his go-to for the past several years.

The Chargers rookie wide receiver is the perfect buy-low candidate, and you should trade for him now before his value goes up and it becomes too late.
