It's not often that Jerry Rice, considered by most to be the best wide receiver to ever play the game, is shown in a negative light. But after a weird confrontation with a reporter at a golf tournament, that's exactly what happened.
Participating in the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, Rice was asked a question by a reporter which led to an ugly exchange of words.

Rice is of course the father of Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Brenden Rice, a wide receiver the team selected in the seventh round of April's draft out of USC. Jerry Rice felt teams let his son fall too far down the board and vowed to help him prove them all wrong.
Brenden Rice will have his work cut out for him to move up the team's depth chart as a rookie.
Jerry Rice obviously felt these reporters were attempting to troll him by asking him a question about the Kansas City Chiefs who defeated his former team, the San Francisco 49ers, in Super Bowl LVIII.

The elder Rice may have been having a bad day and this particular question just really irked him but his confrontational, threatening demeanor likely won't be met with much positivity. Hopefully, Brenden won't have to answer any questions about this incident.
