Jim Harbaugh just couldn't help himself. He had to take another Michigan player before the draft was over and he did, grabbing wide receiver Cornelius Johnson at No. 253 overall. He also drafted linebacker Junior Colson in round three.

At one point, it seemed that the Chargers weren't as worried about the wide receiver position as the fanbase was after drafting Joe Alt in the first round, bypassing Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze.

Johnson became the third wide receiver taken by the Chargers in this draft, joining Ladd McConkey and Brenden Rice, who was also taken in the seventh round. He became the 13th Wolverines player drafted, setting a record for the school.

Johnson caught 47 passes for Michigan last season and will come in looking to compete for a spot within what is suddenly a deep group.

Grade: B
