The Los Angeles Chargers needed cornerbacks and have used back-to-back draft picks to fill the void. After selecting Maryland defensive back Tarheeb Still earlier in the fifth round, the team added Cam Hart, perhaps an even better overall prospect, out of Notre Dame.

This pick makes the Still pick even better as the team suddenly has a formidable secondary, at least on paper.

Hart is an intriguing prospect at 6-foot-3 and 202 pounds. He doesn't appear anywhere close to have reached his potential ceiling and could become a future star in Los Angeles' scheme. He played in 40 games for the Irish and had 17 career pass breakups.

He showed himself to be aggressive without too many penalties and his combination of size and athletic ability is what had the teams that had him high on their boards put him there. If you want to see what Hart can be capable of, go watch him match up against Marvin Harrison Jr. last season.

Grade: B+
