In a recent poll asking NFL players different questions, one of them pertained to who the most annoying players in the league are, and two Las Vegas Raiders players were among those who received votes.
And not only did they receive votes, they were No. 2 and No. 3 on the list. Those players were defensive lineman Christian Wilkins and edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
The votes were compiled by Mike Jones and staff over at The Athletic. Wilkins received 11.9% of the votes, while Crosby garnered 7.5%.
"Second place went to Raiders defensive tackle Christian Wilkins (eight votes), who was described as 'a different type of s— talker,' while his teammate Crosby came in third with five votes," Jones wrote. "This was the question most often skipped by players, with only 67 of the 110 we spoke to offering a response."
On top of simply being really good football players capable of wrecking games, both Wilkins and Crosby are huge trash talkers, something we've seen said about Crosby on numerous occasions during his career.
One of the more infamous instances of Crosby's trash talk came in a game against the Indianapolis Colts last season, when the Raiders star kept calling former Colts and current Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew a "little a-- boy."
After joining the Raiders, Minshew said both Wilkins and Crosby are two of the best "s--t talkers" he's ever faced.
"Excited to be with (Maxx Crosby), Christian (Wilkins), some of the best s--t talkers I've been around in the NFL," Minshew said. "To have them on our side, to practice against them every day, it's just going to make me better. I'm super excited about it."
The only player to receive more votes than Crosby and Wilkins in the poll was Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who is also infamous for his trash talk. Gardner-Johnson received a whopping 20.9% of votes.
Rounding out the top six were Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham (6.0%), Tennessee Titans safety Jamal Adams (4.5%) and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (4.5%).
