Raiders minicamp injury updates: Jackson Powers-Johnson, Kolton Miller image

The Las Vegas Raiders began their first day of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and in the process we received some injury updates on players who were previously missing during organized team activities.

The good news is that 2024 second-round pick and guard Jackson Powers-Johnson returned to the practice after missing significant time this offseason. The rookie hadn't been spotted at practice since Day 2 of organized team activities, when Powers-Johnson left the session early with an undisclosed injury.

On the flip side, left tackle Kolton Miller, who hasn't practiced at all this offseason, is still not participating. However, he was outside with the team during the session. The Athletic's Tashan Reed revealed that Miller is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.

Along with Miller, defensive tackle Matthew Butler and linebacker Darien Butler weren't taking part, either. We didn't get any updates on their injuries, though. Other than Miller and the Butlers, it appears everyone else participated.

One notable name who made his offseason practice debut was receiver Davante Adams, who was absent from the voluntary practices in previous weeks. Adams was likely just doing his own thing, which isn't rare for an established player.

We have live updates from the Raiders' first day of minicamp. We'll also have the biggest takeaways and standouts once the session is complete.
