The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly made a much-needed addition to their wide receivers room after signing former Dallas Cowboys wideout, Michael Gallup, who is inking a one-year deal worth up to $3 million, pending a physical.

Gallup was a key piece of the Cowboys' offense in 2019 and 2020, with the Colorado State product tallying 1,107 yards in the former year and 843 in the latter. However, his once promising trajectory has taken a nose dive in recent years, mostly because of injury.

While things have gone south since a 2021 season that saw him deal with a calf injury and a torn ACL, the Raiders don't even need Gallup to be the old version of himself, as he'll be the No. 3 option, at best.

Here's a look at how things shake out on the Raiders' wide receiver depth chart after the Gallup and undrafted free-agent signings, and we'll provide some analyst.

Starter Backup Backup
Davante Adams Tre Tucker Lideatrick Griffin
Jakobi Meyers DJ Turner Jeff Foreman
Michael Gallup Kristian Wilkerson Ramel Keyton

Analysis

For now, we're giving the edge to Gallup over Tucker for the No. 3 receiver spot because of experience, but that could go either way. With this group, the Raiders have multiple options for the slot, as Adams, Meyers, Gallup and Tucker all have experience playing there. Brock Bowers isn't listed here but he should also see snaps in the slot. Gallup can be the main backup on the outside if the Raiders want to move Adams or Meyers around.

Adams, Meyers, Gallup and Tucker are roster locks. The players who will fight for a spot include Turner, Wilkerson, Griffin (UDFA), Foreman (UDFA) and Keyton (UDFA).
