Just in case you were wondering how Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs feels about no longer being with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024, he made his feelings quite clear on Thursday.

Jacobs signed a four-year, $48 million deal with Green Bay this offseason after a year of contract drama with the Raiders. Las Vegas slapped the tag on Jacobs last year and there was a standoff before the Raiders and the running back ultimately worked out a one-year, $12 million deal.

Before signing with the Packers this offseason, the Raiders reportedly did make Jacobs an offer but it did not approach what Green Bay was willing to pay him — and the rest, as they say, is history.

On Thursday, Jacobs spoke to the media and addressed his time with the Raiders. He called his tenure an "emotional roller coaster" and is happy to be somewhere he feels like he's wanted.

"I feel like it was an emotional roller coaster, so just to be somewhere stable and be at a place where you feel like you're wanted, I think it's huge," Jacobs said. "It definitely brings that joy back to the game."

Shortly after signing with the Packers, Jacobs sent a text message to former teammate and Packer, wide receiver Davante Adams, to see if he was maybe thinking about going back to his old team.

"When I came out here ... I sent him the little eyes emoji," Jacobs said. "I said, ‘You thinking about coming back?’ But man, he loved it."

With Jacobs now in Green Bay, the Raiders are moving forward with a backfield led by Zamir White and Alexander Mattison. Whether or not they can replicate the kind of success Jacobs had remains to be seen.
