The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos will square off for a divisional battle at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday in Week 5 after both teams notched a victory in their previous outings.
Coming off a loss to the Carolina Panthers in which head coach Antonio Pierce questioned the effort of some of his players, and with the team being extremely shorthanded due to injuries, the Raiders notched a 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.
Meanwhile, the Broncos needed just 60 passing yards from rookie quarterback Bo Nix to pick up their second win in a row in what was a defensive battle versus the New York Jets that ended in a 10-9 score.
The Raiders have owned the Broncos in recent years, with Las Vegas winning each of it last eight meetings against Denver, and 10 out of the last 11. Believe it or not, this isn't the longest winning streak the Raiders have had over their division rival, as the Raiders won 14 straight over Denver from 1965-71.
Second place is on the line in this contest. A win for either team will put them in the spot behind the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs.
The Raiders are once again very shorthanded because of injuries, but they did get some good news on Saturday, as star edge rusher Maxx Crosby is expected to play despite a questionable tag.
