Just days after Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce questioned the effort of some of his players following an ugly loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, the team got together for a meeting.

Before practice on Wednesday, Pierce revealed that the team did in fact have a meeting about his "business decisions" comment from Sunday, but said the contents of the meeting would stay, "in house," per Vic Tafur of The Athletic.

"There is no panic button," Pierce told reporters. "We're not jumping off the plane."

By all accounts, it was a successful meeting. Running back Zamir White said it was "personal" but also called it "huge," while cornerback Nate Hobbs characterized the meeting as "productive."

"That meeting was huge, huge," White said, according to Logan Reever of 8 News Now. "Because it wasn't just about players, it was about everybody, the whole building, so we really got personal and we talked about it and we learned from it."

"I definitely think it was a conversation between the team that needed to happen, and it was productive," Hobbs said. "Everybody in the room I think got things off their mind that I think that they needed to."

While we're just three games into the 2024 season, it already feels like the Raiders are at a crossroads.

Are the Raiders going to be the team that was able to pull off an upset win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2? Or are they going to be the disappointing team that didn't show up against the Panthers in Week 3?

Only time will tell, but clearly the Raiders are trying to right the ship. They'll begin the process of trying to do that in a Week 4 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
