The Las Vegas Raiders' 2024 schedule has been revealed, but exactly how difficult is the upcoming slate? Well, we have three different ways of trying to figure that out.
The first and worst way is by going off the 2023 records of the Raiders' opponents. Using that method, the Raiders have ninth-toughest schedule in the NFL. However, that's flawed considering teams can drastically improve or get worse from their previous iteration in any given offseason.
The best method by far is using 2024 win projections from Vegas oddsmakers. In that regard, the Raiders own the ninth-most difficult slate in the league, and the eighth-toughest in the AFC, per Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis.
Last but not least, we have strength of schedule based on Super Bowl odds. There, the Raiders have the 14th-most challenging slate in the NFL, per Deniz Selman, who calculated the numbers.
